Operations Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team in Boston, MA. In this long-term contract position (4-6 months), you will play a vital role in supporting corporate actions and class action operations while ensuring seamless processes and accurate reporting. This hybrid role offers flexibility with a schedule of three days in the office and two days remote.
Responsibilities:
- Process corporate actions and class action filings with precision and adherence to established procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors and clients to confirm details, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely deliverables.
- Manage accounts payable and payment processing tasks, including reconciliations and receipt management.
- Prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Authenticate and validate market data, securities information, and announcements for accuracy.
- Generate and distribute comprehensive reports to support internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records and documentation to ensure compliance and efficient access to information.
- Address client inquiries and issues promptly, providing solutions to meet their needs.
- Monitor and improve operational workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support organizational goals by contributing to team efforts and upholding high standards of performance.
Requirements:
- Proficient communication skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with payment processing, reconciliations, and accounts payable procedures.
- Understanding of corporate actions and class action processes, including securities and market data.
