Job description

Job Title : Site Safety and health officer (SSHO).

Location : Wilmington, NC

Night Shift

Duration : 45 days

Working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week

Salary : $3000 per week, plus lodging, plus fuel, plus meal per diem

Primary responsibilities :

  • Conduct personnel and equipment inspections daily
  • Conduct safety orientations and meetings with personnel at the jobsite
  • Conduct mishap investigations
  • Maintain applicable safety reference material at the jobsite
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance of safety requirements
  • Remove personnel not wearing proper PPE or are a safety risk.

Qualifications

  • 5 Years’ experience in Safety (Requirement)
  • Possess an OSHA 30 card (Requirement)
  • Active First Aid / CPR (Requirement)
