Job description

Overview :

This role ensures accurate and high-quality manufacturing documentation by creating and updating mechanical component drawings using standard drafting practices and 3D modeling tools. It involves close collaboration with engineers and team members to support product quality and efficient manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and revise part and assembly drawings according to engineering standards.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles (ASME Y14.5).
  • Collaborate with engineers to clarify requirements and resolve design issues.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Participate in team discussions to share best practices and troubleshoot issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in CAD / drafting or equivalent experience (2+ years).
  • Proficiency in 3D parametric modeling software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T standards.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PLM systems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, casting).
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment components.
