A fast-growing, innovation-driven residential development and real estate platform in California is seeking an experienced VP of Marketing / Chief Marketing Officer to lead marketing, communications, and brand strategy across its portfolio. This is a high-impact executive role with full ownership of marketing strategy, public relations, digital initiatives, and team leadership.

About the Role

The VP of Marketing will oversee all marketing operations, brand positioning, PR, and digital strategy while driving customer engagement, investor relations, and overall market presence. This role offers exposure to high-profile residential communities, innovative development projects, and opportunities to shape strategic growth in competitive California markets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a holistic marketing strategy aligned with corporate objectives

Lead brand positioning, messaging, and reputation management across all channels

Drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty programs

Oversee public relations, corporate communications, and community outreach

Lead digital transformation efforts and implement marketing technology platforms

Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing and PR team

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide strategy

Manage marketing budgets with clear ROI tracking

Serve as primary spokesperson or designate appropriate media representatives

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)

10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership

Proven track record in strategic PR, corporate communications, and marketing leadership

Experience in real estate, residential development, or property-related marketing strongly preferred

Exceptional leadership, communication, and media relations skills

Proficiency with digital marketing, analytics, and marketing automation tools
