Job descriptionProvide first assist support in orthopedic surgical procedures at a Level III trauma center Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient care Manage daily clinical responsibilities in collaboration with the orthopedic surgery team Respond to trauma cases and assist with surgical interventions as needed Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and workflow management Must hold an active Physician Assistant license in Oregon Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery required Experience with trauma and orthopedic surgical cases strongly preferred Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Whether you need long term coverage for your practice, short term vacation coverage, or anything in between – you can trust Barton Associates to provide the flexible staffing solutions your organization needs to thrive. About The Position
We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon, starting Mar 2, 2026. This full-time opportunity features a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, with one week of 24-hour call each month. The successful candidate will join a Level III trauma center and provide high-level first assist services within a dynamic surgical environment. Experience with Epic EMR is required.
