Summary

This role will support a large-scale Automotive OEM for creating and validating automation of CAE workflows and processes related to the 1D / 3D CAE models, which includes AI / ML approaches focusing on Crash Safety (structural) performance.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Ansa for preprocessing tasks and meshing.
• Responsible for dynamic and / or static, linear and / or nonlinear Crash analysis utilizing CAE tool LS Dyna for structural performance.
• Lead and provide technical guidance for teams or projects to develop and validate new CAE methods for both specification setting and product verification for Crash performance.
• Develop and evaluate metrics for quality of modeling and analysis.
• Interpret data, develop and report countermeasures using MetaPOST / Hyperworks for post processing.
• Must be able to optimize and correlate analyses with real world test results.
• Communicates effectively within the group about milestones and issues, and outside the group to accomplish goals.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with minimal guidance.
• Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve product and / or processes.
• Utilizes Excel to create and update project schedules.
• Travel to client site required.
