Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a dayshift position requiring ARRT (R) certification and experience with a broad patient age range.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital diagnostic imaging setting

Schedule consists of 3x12 hour day shifts

Performs all radiographic examinations and assists with fluoroscopic procedures

Operates large C-arm and O-arm under direction of the surgeon

Patient populations include neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

Use of HIS and PACS computer systems for documentation

Assist radiologists and surgeons with all fluoroscopic and specialized imaging procedures

Position includes monitoring inventory and maintaining a clean, stocked work area

Must follow department policies relating to confidentiality, safety, infection control, and radiation protection

HIPAA compliance is mandatory

Maintains collaborative communication with patients, families, and healthcare team

Requirements

Current ARRT (R) registration required

BLS certification required

Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience preferred

Ability to work with patients across all age groups from neonatal to geriatric

Must have a currently active state license if applicable

Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and speaking
