Job Summary

Infra-Metals is seeking an experienced CNC Burning Machine Operator to join our team!

We are a leading steel service center, providing value-added processing and distributing a full line of metal products to industries nationwide.

We're looking for a skilled operator with hands-on experience running Plate Burning Machines (Plasma or Oxy-Fuel) in a steel service center or fabrication environment. Experience with overhead cranes is a plus. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and motivated to deliver high-quality results.

Walk(Move, Traverse), Climb (stairs / ladders) or balance (Ascend / Descend, Work atop, Traverse), Stoop, kneel, crouch, or Crawl(Position self(to), Move), Pushing or Pulling, Reaching, Repetitive Motion, Stand or Sit(Stationary position)

Function in the Job

Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Job Function

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC plate burning machines to meet required specifications.
• Ensure all cuts meet size and tolerance requirements per processing work orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written work instructions.
• Accurately use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers).
• Safely use manual hand tools such as wrenches and clamps.
• Operate overhead cranes and assist with warehouse tasks as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to complete production goals.
• Perform additional warehouse duties or special projects as assigned.
