Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Administrative Assistant to support the Lead Partner of our Personal Injury Practice Group. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of managing multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion. This role is critical in ensuring that the Lead Partner remains organized, informed, and focused on client and case needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Lead Partner’s calendar, appointments, and deadlines to ensure timely follow-up on all matters.
  • Organize and maintain case files—both electronic and physical—ensuring easy access to key documents.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence, memos, and case-related documents.
  • Monitor emails and phone communications; flag priority messages and ensure prompt responses.
  • Coordinate internal meetings, reminders, and task lists to help the Lead Partner stay on top of case activity.
  • Track case milestones, filing deadlines, and important dates.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as scanning, filing, copying, and data entry as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an administrative or legal assistant (law firm experience strongly preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Professional demeanor and a proactive, can-do attitude.
