Security Officer

Monitor and communicate need for security services throughout assigned area(s).

Responsibilities :

• Manage and respond to calls and / or alarms and initiate immediate response.
• Coordinate and / or dispatch staff in response to requests for service. Retrieve recorded documentation as required.
• Monitor the activities of persons on the premises by way of surveillance systems and communications.
• Initiate communication with team leader / manager when additional staffing support is necessary and assist with resolution of those issues.
• May be responsible and accountable for hiring, training, supervision and performance appraisals of security shift employees.
