Job descriptionProfessional Engineering ( License (or ability to obtain within 12 months) 8+ years of transit-focused engineering experience including : Transit corridor design experience, focused on (but not limited to) BRT and LRT modesTrack / guideway designRoadway designStation design, including park-and-ride facilities Outgoing, self-motivated team player High level of proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience communicating and working with clients Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and detail-orientation Ability to balance priorities among multiple projects
Overview
Kimley-Horn's Orange, California (CA) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Transit team!
Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will contribute to the production and delivery of transit design projects with a particular focus on, but not limited to Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) projects.
- Various tasks may include corridor concept development, assistance in public outreach, and transit evaluation.
- This role will require a high degree of multi-disciplinary coordination.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are critical.
Qualifications
Base Salary Range : $120,000 - $170,000
