Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs or LVNs) Full Time

Overview

NaphCare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team of medical professionals in Pueblo Colorado where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Pueblo County Detention Center. We currently have a Full Time Day Shift position availabl! We also have a Full Time Night Shift position available!

Pay rates range from $29.70-$31.35 per hour. Pay rates range per hour based on employment status site needs licensure and experience.

As a Correctional Nurse you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to the individuals in residence. Working within a controlled environment where security is top priority and the days are never dull you will have various duties to keep you engaged including performing physical assessments administering medications managing chronic illnesses and responding to emergencies. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical needs.

Qualifications

Experience / Requirements / Qualifications

Must possess an active BLS CPR Certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Physical Capabilities :

Must have the ability to stand for long periods lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds) bend squat reach push pull walk significant distances and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
