General Summary
The Jr. Cost Accounting Associate is responsible for ensuring import documents by division & approval of freight and duty bills. Supports in Month end and Qtr. end closing. This position supports the Wholesale Footwear business.
The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role. This position is based in our LIC office and requires working on-site five days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Breakdown the duties, freight charges, broker's fee, & trucking charges by style / purchase order by division
- Prepare and upload data of duty allocation by shipment
- Audit & approve bills for sea freight charges shipped under our direct or in-direct contracts with carriers
- Check documents sent with shipping advices
- List approved broker into excel sheet
- Support in month and quarter end closing
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

College degree or equivalent experience in related fieldMinimum of 3+ years of experience working with accounting / important preferredProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skillsThe expected base salary for this position ranges from $25.00-$27.00. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
