Job Role : Senior Transportation Project Manager

Duration : Full Time

Location : San Luis Obispo, CA

Qualifications :

Candidate shall have a BSCE degree, California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, plus a minimum of ten years’ experience in public works design with an emphasis in transportation engineering; or the equivalent work experience of 14 years.

Position Requires :

Extensive experience and demonstrated engineering abilities in all aspects of roadway engineering projects. Experience in roundabout design, interchange design and / or active transportation a plus.

Interacting comfortably and productively with clients and public agencies.

Experience with Caltrans District 5 and knowledge of Caltrans processes is a plus.

Candidate must have a minimum five years’ project management experience.

Candidate’s Managerial Experience Will Include

Supervision of engineering design teams.

Management of project schedules and budgets.

Preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work.

Experience in client and public-agency interactions.
