We are seeking a highly experienced, self-motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. Candidates must have :

  • Graduated from a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program, and
  • Hold a current California State Electrician Certification (DIR / DLSE issued).

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the NEC, California electrical codes, and public works compliance requirements, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

This is a contract-based role. Work will be assigned on a per-project basis, with compensation tied to prevailing wage determinations for the project’s location and scope.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and follow electrical plans and specs.
  • Ability to work with other trades to complete final terminations.
  • Install electrical components and connect wiring equipment as per code and job specs.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, breakers, and control circuits and build control panels from drawings.
  • Splice and terminate wires at junction points.
  • Use industry related hand tools and power tools.
  • Install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems.
  • Feed to pull into, and terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gear, receptacles, switches, etc.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks that may be required by the Company.

    • Qualifications

  • Completion of a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program.
  • Current California State Electrician Certification (DIR / DLSE).
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience (installation, wiring, maintenance, and repair).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of NEC and California building / electrical codes.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
