IT Program Manager

Morfologica is looking for an Information Technology (IT) Senior Project Manager (PMP) to help support one of its customers in the Northern Virginia area at a Federal Site. Qualified candidates should have experience in determining both technical and business goals in consultation with top management and make detailed plans for the accomplishment of these goals.

The ideal candidate will provide a quality control plan for all relevant requirements as well as frequent periodic reports on the status of the personnel staffing. The candidate may also manage and direct all project personnel to ensure high-quality and acceptable task completion in adherence to the statement of work. The candidate is responsible for the delivery of services to the customer and It is paramount that the candidate works in a team environment.

Skills & Requirements

Job duties to include but not limited to :

• Ensure that tasks are completed within the deadlines.
• Consult and coordinate with the customer and the appropriate manager for problem resolution, task scheduling, new resource requirements, training needs, and / or clarifications of any kind.
• Establish and implement streamlined processes and procedures enabling project staff to respond to more demanding requirements or increased number of personnel assigned to project.
• Direct daily operations of department by analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines. Stay abreast of advances in technology.
• Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery.
• Review and approve all systems charts and programs prior to their implementation.
• Direct the work of systems analysts, computer programmers, support specialists, and other computer-related workers.
• Experience working with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum or other) preferred but not required.
