Job Description :
The Senior Instruments Planning Analyst is responsible for Instrument part demand, supply and inventory planning, master data governance by creating and document standard work and dashboards to drive process improvement.
This individual will have direct responsibility for instrument parts management globally to support Inventory and On Time Delivery target, while challenging current processes to improve cost, supply continuity and inventory optimization.
This position reports to the Director of Instruments Operations Planning and is part of the Global Instrument Operations located in Sunnyvale, California and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to :
Document the SOP for instrument part SAP / Baxter setup and publish it in Agile
Build a dashboard to show all SAP planning parameters that require updates during part setup
Develop a report or dashboard to track POs shipped from Sanmina but not yet received in SAP
Improve UI for newly developed commercial planning dashboards to improve usability
Develop dashboard that enable automatic dynamic safety stock calculation based on historical data
Skills and Qualification :
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related work experience OR Master's degree in field with 3+ years of related work experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience
Advanced users of Microsoft Excel, including Power Query and complex formulas
Proficient in SQL programming for data extraction and transformation
Proficient in Power BI dashboard development, including advanced DAX calculations
Proficient in designing and managing data schemas and infrastructure
Preferred Skills :
Proficient in SAP especially MRP and MM
Hands-on experience in material planning, inventory transactions, master data maintenance, and purchase order management
Medical device experience is preferred
