Commercial Litigation - Associate Attorney

Seeking a motivated associate with 3-6 years of experience to join a growing practice that specializes in financial services and real estate litigation. This is a unique and exceptional opportunity to join a well-respected, collaborative, and supportive team.

The ideal candidate has excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills and understands the rules of procedure and evidence. Experience appearing in court and arguing motions is preferred. Experience with bankruptcy is also preferred, but not required. The successful candidate is an effective problem-solver, highly organized, and has a very strong work ethic. All candidates must be admitted to The Florida Bar and in good standing.

• Manage cases with partner supervision and work as part of a team on larger matters.
• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Attend / argue at court hearings
• Strategize, prepare for, and attend depositions, mediation and / or trials
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws
