Job Title : Traveling Superintendent (Commercial)

We are a dynamic and growing construction management firm, seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing the preconstruction phase of our projects, ensuring seamless coordination between all project stakeholders, and driving the preparation of accurate and competitive proposals. If you're a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a background in commercial construction management and estimating, we want to hear from you!

In this role you will :

• Manage construction phases of projects ranging from $50K to $10M, ensuring effective communication with the Project Manager, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing project schedules, long-lead item logs, and subcontractor schedules.
• Coordinate and manage jobsite facilities (trailers, utilities, access roads, etc.) and ensure safety and security measures are in place.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure OSHA guidelines are followed.
• Address any coordination issues between contract documents, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Lead inspections, identify quality issues, and drive corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date “as-built” documentation and handle project close-out procedures, including punch lists and final inspections.
• Coordinate staffing and manage field personnel performance, providing feedback and training when needed.
