The Outbound AutoStore Assistant Manager plays a key role in keeping the AutoStore department running smoothly at WebstaurantStore 877. Working alongside the Outbound Manager, this role helps lead daily operations across picking, decanting, and indirect positions, all while ensuring quality, accuracy, and an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

Operational
- Assists with the management of the day-to-day operations within the AutoStore department, including Picking, decanting, and any other tasks involved with operating and maintaining AutoStore functionality. Ensure that the team is consistently focused on achieving a high degree of quality, efficiency, and accuracy to satisfy our customer base.
- Train, coach, develop, and hold accountable up to 15 employees to achieve operational metrics and satisfy the needs of the distribution center.
- Works closely with the Inbound Manager to monitor daily, weekly, and monthly metrics for the receiving department; identify and resolve operating issues as needed.
- Provide clear and frequent communication to all teams regarding company policies and procedures.
- In collaboration with the Outbound Manager, lead weekly and monthly meetings to share information including metrics review, areas of improvement, employee relations issues, and provide updates on any initiatives and related projects.
- Assists in analyzing opportunities for improvement including productivity growth, cost reduction, damage mitigation, and increased process efficiency.
