• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication / cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques
• Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
