National Accounts Manager
The National Accounts Manager at Velociti Services will act as senior liaisons for high-profile clients, prioritizing client satisfaction, promoting new services, setting targets, and ensuring healthy relationships exist between Velociti Services and its customers. They also follow up on complaints and questions from clients and present their performance to management and will oversee and manage client relationships and partnerships on a national basis for Velociti Services.
Optimal candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills, confidence, and the ability to lead a team of salespeople in managing accounts across the country. A top-notch national account manager will bring skills as a negotiator, problem solver, and thought leader to the table.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Creating and monitoring targets for the national sales department
- Building a trusting and professional relationship with clients
- Leading and conducting meetings with clients and account managers
- Ensuring that all accounts are looked after and maintained
- Supervising and managing regional salespeople in your area
- Following up on complaints and queries on behalf of clients
- Promoting new services and products to clients in your area
- Reporting to senior management on the status of your accounts
- Taking a leading role in presentations and proposals for national accounts
- Monitoring and identifying market trends, competitors, and new sales leads
- Training and managing employees and vendors to ensure all client processes, procedures, guidelines, regulations, and expectations are adhered to
- Developing and maintaining strategic customer relationships
- Serving as liaison between clients and Velociti Services departments / divisions
- Conducting service review meetings with clients concerning Velociti Services performance, vendor performance and potential process improvements
- Surveying buildings for staffing purposes and cost evaluations
- Maintaining labor and account budgets
- Examining work completion in accordance with contract deliverables
- Monitoring quality control throughout assigned facilities
- Sustaining focus on safety through onsite observations and / or inspections
Required Skills / Abilities :
Bachelors' Degree, MBA preferredA minimum of 5 years experience in a regional or national account manager positionA sales background with a demonstrated history of sales performanceA solid grasp of sales metrics, performance measures, and technical indicatorsA thorough aptitude for analysis and strategyDecisive thinking and leadership abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and client-relations skillsNegotiation, conflict resolution, and presentation skillsDynamic and creative problem-solving abilitiesA strong client-focused mindsetExperience at interfacing at all levels throughout an organizationPC literate understanding of how to use the technology as a toolAbility to communicate with all levels within a clients management structureGood team player and managerAble to command credibility and be able to influenceExperience in janitorial industry preferredExperience managing multiple locations5 years customer service experienceMust possess a valid drivers licenseKnowledge of custodial / commercial cleaningAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityPhysical Requirements
