We are currently seeking cardiac anesthesiologists with exceptional skills and expertise to join our esteemed team at Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) in Lewiston, Maine , where we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a supportive and fulfilling work environment!

• Come join our department of 8 physician anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs providing care for a wide variety of surgical cases.
• Typical surgeries performed include orthopedics, vascular, general, plastics, gynecology, urology, and ENT.
• No neurosurgery.
• Strong regional skills are a must! Labor and delivery floor with approximately 800 deliveries per year.
• Most cases done at the hospital are in the care team model, typical supervision ratios 1 : 2-1 : 3 with a strong team of well-trained nurse anesthetists.
• Coverage responsibilities also include an orthopedic surgery center which is predominantly run as a physician-only site!

Operating room day runs from 7AM to 4 : 30PM, with the pre-call doc relieved first. Weeknight call is 3pm-7a, weekend call is 24H. Call expectation is Q8. Average 45 hours per week.
