A well-established and growing agricultural operation is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish-English) Farm Manager to oversee daily farming activities across both row crops and vegetable production . The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on farming experience, and working knowledge of both conventional and organic practices . Key Responsibilities :
Oversee all aspects of crop production including planting, cultivation, irrigation, and harvest for both row crops and vegetables.
Lead and train a diverse workforce, providing clear direction and communication in Spanish and English .
Plan and implement fertility, irrigation, and crop rotation programs for optimal yield and soil health.
Ensure compliance with organic certification and conventional production standards .
Coordinate with agronomists, suppliers, and operators to manage inputs and schedules.
Manage equipment use, maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime.
Track budgets, input inventory, and production data to maintain efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of farm management experience in row crops and / or vegetable production.
Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
Understanding of organic certification requirements and conventional agricultural methods.
Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively across diverse workforces.
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with irrigation systems and farm equipment .
Organized, proactive, and capable of working independently in fast-paced conditions.
CDL or pesticide applicator license preferred.
