REPORTS TO : OPERATIONS MANAGER

STATUS : PART-TIME (NON-EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Operations Team Member will be responsible for a variety of duties dependent upon the need for the day, while providing participants, members and / or guests an excellent experience in every aspect. A flexible schedule is a must for this position. 10-20 hours per week.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING :

  • Setup tables and chairs in accordance to floorplans
  • Assist with vacuuming, and cleaning when needed
  • Work various events in roles including server, busser, bartender, concessions worker
  • Maintain and control trash during events and after events
  • Assist with stocking bars and concessions when needed
  • Consistently communicate issues and relevant updates to your supervisor and applicable Team members
  • Assist with scanning tickets, running cash register
  • Greet guests and provide answers and directions as needed
  • Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staff
  • Be knowledgeable about prices, products, and events
  • Report all incidents, accidents, injuries, and altercations to General Manager
  • Know and enforce the facility's policies, procedures, and rules
  • Other duties as assigned

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS :

  • 2-4 years of experience in the events field
  • Strong eye for detail and safety compliance
  • Proven success in being a quality team member
  • Experience and success in customer service
  • Action-oriented personality with a 'get it done' attitude and proficiency for efficiency

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Can work with a wide variety of age groups
  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance necessary
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent guest service skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
  • Must be respectful and friendly to our guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow Team Members
  • Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
  • Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others

    • WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend into awkward positions while performing job functions
  • Facility has intermittent noise
  • Must be able to walk intermittently
