About the Position :
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Neurosurgery team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a 24-bed unit providing exceptional care for a diverse patient population with complex neurosurgical needs.

Schedule :
This position requires working third shift with a flexible schedule including 8 and 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays.

Join our Neurosurgical Unit, where you will care for :
Post-operative patients from craniotomies, spine surgeries, and stroke patients.Medical overflow cases in collaboration with our Comprehensive Stroke Program.Engage with the latest neurosurgical techniques through the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII).Your Key Responsibilities :
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care and coordinate treatment plans.Engage with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Assess and monitor patient conditions, responding promptly to changes.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.Qualifications :
Current Registered Nurse license and BLS certification are required.Completion of an accredited nursing program.At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Skills Needed :
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficient in using electronic medical records and capable of critical thinking.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.Physical Demands :
Must be capable of performing physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting, moving, and assisting patients safely.
