Licensed Practical Nurse

ALAY Home Care is seeking a  Licensed Practical Nurse!

We need Caregivers who are enthusiastic, motivated, dedicated and passionate about caring for others!

Pay Rate : $35 per hour

Location : Boonton. Morris

Schedule : Between 2 : 30 - 7 : 30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (1 hour per day)

LPN Job Responsibilities :

Plans and manages patient care according to each patient’s needs.

Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.

Provides routine care for patients.

Observes patients’ health.

Reviews medical charts.

Communicates with patients and their families.

Knows how to administer a G tube medication and nutrition

Provides wound care.

Prepares and administers injections and / or enemas.

Assists with patient comfort.

Requirements :

High School Diploma, Equivalent or Higher

Valid CPR / First Aid Certification

NJ LPN License

Training and Pre-screening :

Criminal Background Check - Fingerprints

Drug screening

College of Direct Support - Online classes for DDD Certifications

Preferred

Vehicle for Community Transport

1 year Personal Care Experience

1 year Clinical Experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
