We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team in Irvine, California. Responsibilities :
- Provide guidance and support to employees and management in resolving workplace conflicts, ensuring fair and confidential resolutions.
- Collaborate with managers to address performance-related concerns, offering coaching and resources to align with company standards and legal compliance.
- Act as a bridge between employees and senior leadership to ensure effective communication and address workplace concerns.
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of employee relations cases, investigations, and actions taken, preparing reports to track trends.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, staying informed about updates and ensuring company practices align with legal requirements.
- Assist in onboarding processes, ensuring new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization.
- Conduct background checks and ensure proper documentation during the hiring process.
- Utilize HRIS systems to manage data and streamline HR operations effectively.
- Develop and implement policies to ensure consistency in HR practices and compliance with regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in HR or employee relations, with a focus on conflict resolution and compliance.
- Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws, particularly within the real estate or hospitality industries.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to mediate conflicts and handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage confidential information.
- Experience with onboarding processes and background checks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team.
