Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Bemidji, MN 56601 (Northern Minnesota healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (November 17, 2025 – February 16, 2026)

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – OB / Labor & Delivery Unit

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (rotating schedule, every 3rd weekend, rotating holidays)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2240 - $2400 per week

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Minnesota RN license (required for Minnesota nursing jobs)

Minimum 2 years of recent OB / Labor & Delivery nursing experience (including Postpartum and Pediatrics)

BLS (AHA) certification

ACLS (AHA) certification

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Experience with EPIC EMR preferred; please specify other EMR systems if no EPIC experience

Willingness to float to other units as needed (Med-Surg, Telemetry, etc.)

Ability to work in Labor, Postpartum, Nursery, and Pediatrics

At least 1 year of overall nursing experience required

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care for laboring mothers, postpartum patients, stable antepartum patients, newborns, pediatric patients, and GYN / Med-Surg overflow

Assist as the second RN in the Special Care Nursery (SCN) as needed

Utilize clinical equipment such as EPIC One Chart, Acudose, Philips Vitals Machines, Bladder Scanner, Medula Breast Pumps, Responder 5 Call light system, and Medfusion Pumps

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including ward clerks, CNAs, charge / resource nurses, and LPN scrub nurses

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient safety at all times

Participate in unit orientation and adhere to facility protocols (including navy blue scrubs and badge-in / out policy)

Support a patient-centered environment and provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care
