Inspection Technician I (Fort Worth)

Source One is a consulting services company and were currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant to our direct client, a global medical device company in Fort Worth, TX.

Job Title : Inspection Technician I

Pay Rate : $25 / hr (W-2)

The contract duration is initially 12 months with possible extension

40 hours / week, Mon-Fri, 1st shift

Job Description : The Inspection Technician Associate works in the areas of inspection or quality test of products within the surgical instrumentation and quality organization. This individual will perform quality inspections to standard AQLs. Tasks will typically be interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerance in order to qualify parts into stock locations.

Responsibilities :

• Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, hardware, special processes and materials for conformance to specifications.
• Examine items for defects in materials, work and damage occurring in transit.
• Compare quantity and part number of items received with purchasing data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
• Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, hardware, special processes and materials for conformance to engineering requirements and specifications.
• Examine items for defects in materials, work and damage occurring in transit.
• Compare quantity and part number of items received with purchasing data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
• Experience in manufacturing inspection, test, or quality, preferred within a medical device industry.
• Experience performing First Article Inspections.
