Position Title : TES IT Support - School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture

Job Summary : This position provides and delivers advisory / technical assistance to employees and students to guarantee swift resolution of issues. This position will also offer aid for in-class technology, student computers, printer systems, plotters, and faculty tech needs, encompassing the setup and tuning of classroom elements as well as the configuration and diagnostic of client hardware. Alongside this, the role will collaborate with the APLA End Point Support Analyst to identify technological challenges and devise solutions aligning with the School's objectives.

Essential Functions : The role involves providing support to both employees and students for desktops / printers / plotters along with classroom technology, which encompasses :

• Upkeep of classroom technology; this includes updating workstations, maintaining projectors, and addressing issues during system downtime.
• Identifying the root causes of issues by conversing with users and collaborating with internal support teams or vendors to rectify these issues.
• Replenishing consumables in our array of printing areas when depleted, which includes large format plotters.
• Offering immediate technical help to students and staff during business hours for software and equipment crashes.
