About the Role
Crown Linen Service, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Sales Manager to lead growth in our Connecticut territory. You will manage a team of Sales Representatives and Business Developers selling linen and uniform rental programs to healthcare, hospitality, food service, and industrial customers.
This is not just an office role – you'll spend significant time in the field, both developing your own key accounts and riding along with reps to coach, support, and close business.
What You'll Do
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Representatives and Business Developers
Recruit, onboard, and train new team members on Crown's products and rental programs
Work in the field : joint sales calls, prospect visits, presentations, and plant / route tours
Own and help close strategic / new business opportunities in the territory
Set and manage sales targets; review pipelines, activity, and results regularly
Monitor competitors, pricing, and market trends in the linen / uniform rental space
Partner with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and service for new accounts
Use CRM and reporting tools to forecast and track performance
What We're Looking For
B2B outside sales experience required; experience in commercial linen / uniform rental, industrial laundry, or route-based services strongly preferred
Prior sales leadership or team lead experience (coaching reps, managing quotas)
Proven record of meeting or exceeding new business targets
Comfortable spending a large portion of time in the field with reps and customers
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Connecticut
