Manual Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to produce precision metal components using traditional machine tools. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, keen attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings to create accurate, high-quality parts.

Work Hours : 7am-3 : 30am

Salary : $20-25 / hr

Responsibilities :

• Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, and other conventional equipment to machine parts to specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements, tolerances, and materials.
• Measure and verify dimensions of finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Fabricate, repair, or modify metal parts for machinery, equipment, or prototypes.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.

$20 - $25 an hour

Compensation details : 20-25 Hourly Wage
