We are looking for experienced

• Marine Diesel Technicians
• with a strong work ethic to work in our location in Tracy's Landing MD. We have been repairing, refitting, and building boats for 43 years and have earned a strong reputation for excellent customer service and we run our business in a professional, organized way.
• A Marine Diesel Technician will have these qualifications :
• Diesel Technicians troubleshoot, repair and install engine systems on boats ranging from 40-80’. These systems include : troubleshooting using diagnostic systems, service and repair on Yanmar, Cummins, Volvo, and Westerbeke is critical to being a successful candidate. A full working knowledge of marine diesel is a must.
• Essential Duties
• Execute boat commissioning and decommissioning procedures
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and Computer Interfaces to troubleshoot boat systems and components
• Full services on all makes of marine diesel engines
• Evaluate repair and installation jobs and prepare estimated for hours and materials
• Must possess own tools
• Experience working with hand tools and fixing things
• Technical School training preferred
• ABYC Certification will be required if not already achieved prior to hire
• Ability to ascend and descend a ladder
• Ability to work in small and tight spaces
