A leading international law firm is seeking a seasoned Manager of Litigation Docketing to oversee and elevate its firmwide docketing function. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all litigation deadlines and court-related calendaring across multiple jurisdictions. The Manager provides strategic leadership to the docket team, establishes and enforces policies and best practices, and partners closely with attorneys and senior leadership to mitigate risk and maintain full compliance with court and agency rules. This role can sit fully-remote.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the litigation docketing team.
- Develop and maintain firmwide docketing procedures and quality standards.
- Oversee the accurate entry, monitoring, and reporting of all litigation deadlines and court dates.
- Serve as the primary escalation and advisory resource on court rules, calendaring issues, and procedural updates.
- Ensure alignment with evolving federal, state, and local court requirements.
- Support innovation initiatives and continuous improvement within docket operations.
Qualifications :
10+ years of progressive law firm docketing and litigation case management experience, including prior team leadership.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.Deep knowledge of federal and state court rules and e-filing procedures.Proficiency with leading docketing / court calendaring systems (e.g., CompuLaw, CourtAlert, eDockets).Exceptional organizational, communication, and risk-management skills.
