Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with ARRT certification, BLS, and a current IN or Compact license for a high-volume outpatient setting.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an outpatient center with walk-in patientsHandles caseload of 30 to 75 patients daily alongside another technologistUtilizes Konica U-arm, Phillips, EOS, OEC, Dornier, and Zheim equipmentPerforms fluoroscopy including modified barium swallows and urodynamicsCerner EMR is used and experience is requiredDay shift, four 10-hour shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM)Floating to other departments or affiliate hospitals is requiredRoyal blue scrubs requiredCore responsibilities include performing general X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures in a busy outpatient environmentFirst-time travelers are eligible for considerationMust be able to float as needed within the hospital or to affiliate facilitiesCandidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidaysUp to 5 days of requested time off can be auto-approved; more requires facility approvalPerm or PRN employees must have a 12-month gap before applying as a travelerLocal candidates are accepted for Allied positions, including this roleFree parking is available on-sitePre-start online modules required, averaging 8–16 hours\n \n Requirements\n
Current ARRT certification is requiredActive IN or Compact Radiologic Technologist license must be in hand prior to start; license required if applicableBLS certification required (AHA or RQI accepted)Minimum 18 months of radiology experience requiredExperience with Cerner EMR is requiredGraduation from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE\n Benefits\n
