We are looking for an MSc Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer or similar, interested in developing his / her career in the field of decarbonisation of buildings and cities, with a passion for research and teamwork, and with knowledge and skills in programming languages, to work on ambitious national and international projects.
The role of the successful candidate will be to strengthen the R&D activities of the Energy Transition in Cities Department in the field of design, modelling and control of energy systems in buildings and urban areas, working with colleagues to carry out scientific and technological tasks in the following areas :
Required qualifications :
Master's degree in energy, industrial, electrical engineering or similar.

About the Energy Transition in Cities Department
The Energy Transition in Cities Department of CENER develops R&D and technical consultancy projects related to the application and use of energy in buildings and urban environments, proposing new energy concepts that bring us closer to the scenario of carbon neutral cities.
It is a department made up of engineers and architects with extensive experience in ambitious building projects and positive energy districts, integration of renewable energy in urban environments, energy efficiency in buildings and smart cities.
The projects that the Energy Transition in Cities department works on are both national and international, for public administrations and private companies, in collaboration with architects, engineers, manufacturers, developers and other technical experts.
