Job descriptionFull-time, permanent position The Family Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services. The physician will coordinate care with specialists as needed. Outpatient clinical role - no inpatient Standard office hours (Mon-Fri / 8am-5pm) Protected administrative time (4.5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week) 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours Call Schedule : Minimal, shared among all physicians on a 1 : 7 to 1 : 8 rotation Cerner EMR Dedicated nurse and shared medical assistant Average Patient Volume : 18-22 patients per day Patient Census : Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases Demographics : A mix of rural and suburban patients, with common cases such as hypertension, diabetes, and routine wellness checks, etc. Visit Types : Sick visits, follow-ups for chronic conditions, annual physical exams, and acute care visits, etc. Typical Procedures : In-office procedures include minor dermatologic procedures, joint injections, skin biopsies, routine vaccinations, and womens health screenings. Sign-on Bonus : $35k+ sign-on bonus to assist with the transition. Competitive Compensation : Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) + WRVU bonuses (250-270k + / -). Comprehensive Benefits : Health, dental, & vision; supplemental insurance options (short / long-term disability, accidental, cancer, life); retirement plans with employer match. Student Loan Repayment : Eligible for loan repayment assistance through the PSLF program, helping to manage and reduce student debt. CME Allowances : 5 days off a year / $3k a year Malpractice Insurance / Tail Coverage Work-Life Balance : Flexible scheduling and ample paid time off to ensure a healthy work-life balance (22 Days PTO). Medical center was established in 1923 It is an independent, non-profit facility Medical center leadership has history of long tenure 210 bed facility 60+ providers on staff Brand new Pharmacy on medical center campus 21 offices throughout service area - 9 are primary care (soon to be 11) Medical center is the 2nd fastest growing MSA over last 3 years New Family medicine residency program with Campbell University - will be implemented in July 2020 In one of the top 10 fastest growing markets in the US 325,000 person population 10 miles form Myrtle beach Top tier public school system
