Requirements

• Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Required Skills : Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, FloTrac / Vigileo monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella, Pulmonary Artery Line / Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal, IV insulin protocols, GI surgery, Chronic / Acute Renal failure, Accessing / Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care / management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration / Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA / Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drain (EVD), Hypothermia protocol / Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion / Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions / Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains / Wound Vac
