Job Title : Technical Architect IV

Location : Rosemead, CA, 91770

Duration : 18 Months

Job Type : Temporary Assignment

Work Type : Hybrid

Shift : 8-5 M-F

Job Description :

  • lead the development of objectives, conduct tests, analyze issues, and develop solutions to engineering problems; plan and design systems and facilities including lines, substations, system interconnections, and system protection as well as designing system upgrades, system failure restoration, and modifications in compliance with Company, state, and federal regulations, standards, and requirements; participate in or lead research, development, and demonstration of emerging technologies, systems and equipment including metering, field equipment, materials, distributed energy resources, energy storage, and power system technologies; develop multi-year plans, schedules, and technical roadmaps and establish budgets and cost estimates, and develop tracking mechanisms for project progress and costs; define engineering standards, procedures, work methods, and specifications for equipment and oversee review, publication, and implementation of approved standards; may act as a project manager managing through matrixed employees / teams / vendors who are not direct reports but for which the incumbent has direct accountability to lead and achieve project objectives...

Education / Experience :

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in a scientific / technical / math field; professional Engineer?s License is preferred; for some positions, a Professional Engineer?s License is required by local, state or federal agencies; Master?s Degree in related technical field preferred; thorough knowledge and experience in unique area of engineering expertise; thorough knowledge of applicable standards, codes, methods, and practices unique to area of expertise; ability to apply advanced engineering principles to identify and resolve complex issues; possesses one to three years of engineering experience.

    • Day-to-Day Responsibilities / Workload

  • Senior Technology Architect- Cloud & Intergration
  • Contribute to Technology Enablement and Analytics Portfolio and operational excellence initiatives by identifying opportunities for optimization, automation, and innovation.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment between technology solutions and business needs.
  • Provide cross-platform architectural solutions to support enterprise-wide projects and multi-domain initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams to enable AI-driven capabilities, enhancing platform performance, user experience, and cost efficiency.
  • Deliver strategic insights and recommendations through advanced analytics and portfolio planning.
  • Prepare and present executive-level presentations to communicate strategy, progress, and outcomes effectively.

    • Required Skills / Attributes

  • SAP : Demonstrated proficiency in Cloud Integration, HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP PI / PO
  • Cloud : Deep expertise in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform
  • Integration & Architecture : Expertise with integration platforms and cross-platform architectural frameworks and API Management, including, IBM DataPower, Azure API Management, etc.
  • Other Technologies : Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft stack, Oracle, SQL, eDMRM, Snowflake, and OpenText.
  • Analytics : Deep expertise in analytics, with the ability to leverage data for optimization and strategic decision-making.
  • Emerging Needs : Capability to enable AI-driven solutions, process automation, and user experience enhancements.
  • Strategic and Project Management Skills
  • Expertise in advanced project management methodologies, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Proficiency in portfolio planning, aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Experience in strategy development to drive innovative and impactful solutions.

  • Prior experience in client processes, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional dependencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex enterprise environments, balancing technical and people / process considerations.
