American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for evening shifts, requiring ARDMS or ARRT(S), BLS, and experience with ER, ICU, Peds, and portable exams.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in an academic medical center within the general ultrasound departmentWork with diverse patient populations including ER, ICU, pediatrics, and PICUOperate GE ultrasound machines and utilize PACS for imaging records5x8 hour evening shifts from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PMRotating on-call after 11 : 30 PM and rotating weekend 24-hour on-call coverageUse Epic EMR; experience with Epic is requiredLocal travelers not accepted; must reside more than 65 miles from facilityWill perform a variety of general ultrasound procedures in multiple clinical settingsFirst-time travelers are accepted for this assignment5-day orientation provided; modules completed during orientationMust be separated from facility as staff or in-house agency for at least 1 year before returning as travelerMust discuss all requested time off (RTO) during interviewReferences from two managers or supervisors will be required to obtain clearance to startScrub or dress code policy will be provided during orientation\n \n Requirements\n
Current ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification requiredBLS certification from AHA requiredAt least 2 years of recent ultrasound experienceExperience performing scans in ER, ICU, pediatrics, PICU, and portables requiredProficiency with GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system requiredEpic EMR experience requiredLicense required if applicableCompact or Louisiana licensure in hand or proof of Allied Health license application within 72 hours of signing\n Benefits\n
