Co-Pack Supervisor - Second Shift

The Co-Pack Supervisor - Second Shift is responsible for first line management of production lines (2 or more) in the safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective lean environment of high-quality kitting and contract packaging within a high-volume distribution center. You will ensure a safe, productive, and efficient working environment while striving for continuous improvements to meet company objectives. This is a second-shift position, Monday-Friday, 3 : 30 PM-11 : 00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improves the group's performance by implementing lean manufacturing concepts, techniques, and processes.
• Effectively implements new performance management systems, production plans and performance criteria; runs shift meetings; confirms production progress; responds to delays; takes corrective actions; records KPI performance.
• Creates and implements group improvement plans.
• Work directly with purchasing planning team.
• Ensures team understands roles and responsibilities as it relates to the projects and organization.
• Encourages joint problem solving, personal safety, and individual development.
• Supports Shorr Packaging mission, follows values of Shorr Packaging and works to better Shorr Packaging's business.
• Incorporates and maintains safety observances, including but not limited to, use of all PPE by employees, ensuring guards and safety features are working, and promoting good safety practices and habits.
• Communicates goals and objectives, applies company policy, staffs, trains, coaches, insures positive employee relations, and reviews the performance of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned

The targeted compensation for this position is between $65K -$70k base plus targeted bonus, depending on skills and experience of the selected candidate.
