Part-Time Spanish-Speaking Babysitter for 7-Year-Old

We are seeking a dependable and engaging part-time babysitter for our 7-year-old daughter in New York, NY. Starting as soon as possible, the position requires availability on Wednesdays from 1 : 30 pm to 5 : 00 pm with the option for additional Saturday evening hours once a month. The sitter will be responsible for picking up our daughter from her school near Metro Tech and using public transit to bring her to our home near the Barclays Center.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of babysitting experience, be fluent in Spanish, and able to communicate with our daughter exclusively in Spanish. The sitter should also be proactive in engaging her with activities, ensuring she gets physical activity, and setting boundaries when necessary for tasks like leaving the playground or starting homework.

Candidates must provide two references and have a strong reputation for reliability and honesty. Wednesdays will be the regular workday during the school year, with no responsibilities for feeding, bathing, or bedtime routines. There are no pets in the home, and driving is not required.
