Position Opening :  Deputy Clerk-Treasurer

This is an Exempt Position in training for the Clerk-Treasurer position

Salary $6,200 – 7,200 DOQ - Open until filled

Benefits : sick and vacation leave, PERS retirement and full family medical

This position assists the Clerk Treasurer in the operations of the city including budget, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, payroll, utility billing, treasury management and general accounting.  Manages public records, including ordinances, resolutions, minutes of all public meetings, legal documents, reports and correspondence, records retention and public information requests. This position is being groomed to become the Clerk-Treasurer.

Cashmere is located in central Washington State along the Wenatchee River, the city is surrounded by fruit orchards, Cascade foothills, forests and outdoor recreation opportunities.  Cashmere School Dist. offers small class sizes and achieves high scores for education achievement.
