Lead Estimator

Job Description

SNI Companies is partnered with a Commercial Construction company looking to add a Lead Estimator to their growing team!

This role is ideal for someone with proven experience estimating projects across the country, building strong vendor networks, and diving deep into construction plans to ensure accurate and competitive bids. You’ll play a key role in driving project success on ground-up builds including fitness centers, truck stops, and other large-scale commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for ground-up construction projects nationwide.
• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop competitive bids.
• Source and develop relationships with new vendors and subcontractors outside of Texas.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and cost.
• Support ongoing projects and bids within ProCore and SharePoint software systems.
• Build trust and foster strong working relationships across teams and with external partners.
• Provide leadership and mentorship within a growing estimating team (currently 2 other estimators).
• Contribute to business development efforts; potential profit-sharing opportunities available for candidates with a strong BD background.

Qualifications :

5+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably with projects across multiple states.
