Verovian Healthcare Recruitment Agency is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Telemetry / Neuro team for night shifts in Everett, Washington .

This role involves providing specialized care to patients with neurological conditions while continuously monitoring their heart rhythms through telemetry. The RN will work collaboratively with the neuro and telemetry teams to ensure patient safety and promote recovery during the overnight hours.

Job specification

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, ensuring timely interventions for any cardiac abnormalities in neuro patients.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of neuro patients, including stroke, seizure, and head injury cases.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients with neurological conditions requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Administer medications, including IV therapies, and monitor patients for any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with the neurocare team to optimize patient outcomes and assist in neurological assessments and interventions.
• Provide patient and family education on neurological conditions, treatment plans, and telemetry monitoring.
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with hospital standards.
• Respond to critical situations promptly and initiate appropriate life-saving measures.
• Ensure continuity of care during shift changes by providing clear and concise handovers to the next team.
