We are seeking a dedicated General Surgeon for a locum tenens position near Yanceyville, NC. This urgent need requires a start date as soon as possible, with the role extending indefinitely. 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, Labor Day

Practice Details :

Must be board eligible in General Surgery

Preferred

Must be licensed in NC

On-call with call-back obligations

Hospital staff only, solo on-call

Preferred Experience :

Experience in inpatient settings

Appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, chest wall / pleural procedures, chest tube insertion, central line insertion

Adult and pediatric patients

Additional Information :

Housing available for candidates traveling for the position

Candidates will have opportunities to pick up shifts based on availability

Comprehensive support from administrative and clinical staff

Physicians must document in the timesheet the specific reason for the call back and provide supporting notes listed on their timesheet entries to verify call back hours (patient contact hours) submitted and associated with acceptable occurrences. Telephone calls and medical record reviews should not be considered on-site call back hours.
