Shift : 3-12 Schedule | Sunday - Tuesday | 5 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 30 p.m.
Salary Range : $103,460.20 - $132,000.00 (based on experience and location)
About the Program
Telecare's Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) partners with San Diego County Behavioral Health Services , law enforcement agencies , Crisis Stabilization Units (CSUs) , hospital emergency departments , and local schools and colleges to provide in-person crisis response to individuals of all ages experiencing mental health or co-occurring crises.
MCRT's mission is to de-escalate, assess, and stabilize individuals in the community, connecting them with immediate and long-term care - without relying on law enforcement as the first point of contact. The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a patient, grounded, and resilient leader with a strong foundation in crisis work.
Minimum 2 years of experience providing crisis intervention, stabilization, or field-based behavioral health services.
At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role , or completion of Telecare's supervisory training within 6 months.
Someone who leads calmly under pressure, communicates clearly, and inspires confidence in both staff and community partners.
A hardworking, solution-oriented clinician who thrives in mobile, field-based environments and enjoys building relationships with system partners.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Sciences or related field.
Current California licensure (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC).
Valid CA driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle for fieldwork and community collaboration.
Ability to transport members safely in a program van as needed.
Your Role
Respond to crisis calls across San Diego County as part of a dispatched mobile response team.
Provide on-scene leadership and clinical oversight to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed interventions.
Conduct risk assessments, triage, and care coordination with system partners.
Collaborate with law enforcement, first responders, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless crisis resolution and follow-up care.
Document, refer, and coordinate next steps in care in alignment with county protocols.
