Job Description : \nJob Description SummaryBecome part of Essentia's accomplished team in Duluth, Minnesota on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior!We are currently hiring for our Med / Surg Float Pool at Essentia Health - Duluth!Essentia Health - Duluth consists of the following floors : - Observation Unit- Inpatient Rehab- Adolescent Behavioral Health- Adult Behavioral Health- Med / Surg This float pool is primarily between Observation, Inpatient Rehab, and Med / Surg Floors as we have a separate Behavioral Health Float Pool.This is a wonderful opportunity to expand your nursing skillsets in the acute care setting! Submit an application today!- You will be responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - You will delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. - You will contribute to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and / or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.\nLicensure / Certification Qualifications : \n\nCertification / Licensure Requirements : \n

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing\n
• Current nursing licensure in Minnesota\n
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month\n\nExperience : 1 year Acute RN experience required, Critical Care experience preferred. PALS or ACLS preferred\n
• External candidate RNs are eligible for a sign on incentive of $10,000 for ADNs and $15,000 for BSNs
