Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced offshore Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) professional with strong safety leadership experience to join our Gulf of America team. This rotational offshore role is based on a production facility and supports our commitment to safe, compliant, and efficient operations. The rotation schedule will be 14x14 and will crew change at various Gulf Coast locations.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong safety leadership to both company and contractor teams.
- Communicate and uphold company safety expectations.
- Lead and participate in initial incident investigations.
- Conduct field audits of Permit to Work, isolations, JSAs, and worksite activities.
- Facilitate and engage in safety meetings, ensuring timely follow-up on actions.
- Participate in platform emergency response drills.
- Identify hazards and conduct risk analysis for offshore operations.
- Collaborate with offshore teams, logistics, and HSE personnel for proper waste management.
- Manage and communicate Control of Work audit findings.
- Maintain incident records in the company's incident management system.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety, Science, Engineering or related discipline preferred.Minimum 3 years of offshore HSE experience on an oil & gas production facility.Knowledge of Gulf of America HSE regulations, issues and best practices.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Team-oriented mindset with adaptability to change.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Must have the ability to crew change at various Gulf Coast locations.Occasional additional work assignments may be required.
